1. The Service
TravelGo is a personal travel expense tracker that helps you plan trips, log expenses and income, set budgets, split costs with companions, and settle up. It is a budgeting and record-keeping tool for personal use. It is not a bank, a payment service, or a provider of financial, tax, accounting or investment advice.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You may use TravelGo as a Guest without an account. To sync across devices you can create an account using email, Google, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that occurs under it. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to create an account. One person may not maintain multiple accounts to abuse free limits or referral rewards.
3. Guest Mode and Your Data
In Guest mode your data is stored only on your device. If you sign out of an account, uninstall the app, or lose the device, locally stored data may be permanently removed. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, uninstalling, or choosing not to sync. Keep your own backups of anything important — the app can export your data at any time.
4. Premium Purchases and Billing
Some features require a paid Premium plan. Prices, the billing type, the access period and what is included are always shown before you buy. We offer two ways to pay, and the option you choose is confirmed at checkout:
(a) One-time purchase
- A single payment that unlocks Premium for a fixed period (for example 30 days or 365 days), or permanently in the case of a lifetime purchase.
- Nothing is charged again automatically. When the period ends, Premium stops and you return to the free version until you choose to buy again.
- Buying again before your current period expires extends it rather than replacing it, so you never lose paid time.
(b) Auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly)
- Your chosen plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period using your saved payment method, until you cancel.
- The renewal price and date are shown before you subscribe, and the renewal amount is the then-current price for your plan.
- You can cancel at any time. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Cancelling stops future renewals only. Your Premium access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not cut short.
- If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend Premium access until payment succeeds.
Purchases made through this website are processed by our payment provider. Purchases made inside a mobile app may be processed by the relevant app store under its own terms, and in that case subscriptions are managed and cancelled through your app store account rather than through us.
We may change prices or the contents of a plan. For subscriptions, we will give you reasonable notice of any price change before it takes effect, and you may cancel before it applies. Changes never affect a period you have already paid for. Please read our Refund Policy before buying.
5. Storage Limits and Fair Use
Reasonable limits apply to file uploads and to the total storage used by each account so the service stays reliable for everyone. We may decline uploads that would exceed those limits, and we may contact you before taking action on unusually high usage.
6. Referral Program
TravelGo may offer rewards for referring other users. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. We may modify or end the program, and may withhold or reverse rewards obtained through misuse, self-referral, or fraudulent activity.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to breach security, access other users' data, reverse engineer the app, disrupt or overload the service, upload unlawful or infringing content, or use TravelGo for any unlawful purpose.
8. Your Content
You own the data you create in TravelGo. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, transmit and sync your data so we can operate the service for you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for having the right to upload any files you add.
9. Shared Trips
If you invite others to a trip, people you invite can see and contribute to that trip's shared content. Only share trips with people you trust. Invite links can be revoked by the trip owner at any time.
10. Currency Conversion and Calculations
Exchange rates, totals, projections and split calculations are provided for convenience and may be approximate. Rates may be cached or manually set by you. Always verify important figures independently. TravelGo is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of in-app calculations.
11. Third-Party Services
The app relies on third parties including hosting, file storage, payment processors, map tiles, notification delivery and sign-in providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep TravelGo available and reliable, but we may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Because the app is offline-first, your local data remains usable on your device even if online services are unavailable.
13. Disclaimers
TravelGo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will never be lost.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TravelGo and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Termination
You may stop using TravelGo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or to protect the service and its users. Where we terminate an account without cause, any unused paid period will be handled as described in the Refund Policy.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your country of residence.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date will change, and continued use of the app after an update means you accept it.
