Your privacy matters. TravelGo is an offline-first travel expense manager, and we built it so your financial data stays under your control. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Offline-First by Design
TravelGo works fully offline. The trips, expenses, income, budgets, categories, receipts and documents you create are stored locally on your device. This data is only sent to our servers if you choose to create an account and sign in to sync — in Guest mode nothing you enter leaves your device.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: if you sign in, your name and email address (or the identifier provided by Google or Apple Sign-In).
- Content you create: trips, expenses, income, budgets, categories, companions' names, notes, and — if you add them — receipt photos and travel documents.
- Optional location: if you tag an expense with a location, its coordinates are stored with that expense. Location tagging is entirely optional.
- Payment information: if you subscribe to Premium, billing is handled by our payment provider or the app store. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Device and diagnostic data: basic app version, device type, and anonymous crash/usage diagnostics to keep the app stable.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use it to provide the app, sync your data across your devices when you sign in, process Premium subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information.
4. AI Receipt Scanning (Optional)
If you use AI receipt scanning, the receipt image you choose is sent to our processing service to extract the amount, date and merchant. You can use the app without this feature.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We share data only with service providers who help us run TravelGo — hosting, payment processing, optional AI scanning, and crash/analytics — under agreements that limit their use of it. We may disclose information if required by law. We never sell your data.
6. Sign-In with Google and Apple
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a verified identifier and basic profile details (name and email) to create your account. We do not receive your password.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Local data lives on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. If you have an account, you can request deletion of your synced data and account at any time by contacting us at info@tinyapps.me.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections, to protect data in transit and at rest on our servers. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Children
TravelGo is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
